Our Mission
The mission of the Prince George's County Homeless Services Partnership is to
reduce and ultimately eliminate homelessness in Prince George's County through
the combined efforts of the public and private sectors.
What We Do
- Serve as the official Advisory Board to the County Executive and in a
leadership role for networking between groups and individuals who share a
common goal of eliminating homelessness in Prince George's County;
- Work collaboratively to identify, implement, expand and support effective
services and programs that help the homeless people achieve self-sufficiency;
- Provide a public forum to address homeless issues and influence
policy-making as it relates to homelessness;
- Recommend to County and State officials appropriate policies, services,
programs and prevention strategies; and
- Assure Prince George's County is adequately represented on State and
Regional panels, committees and boards addressing homelessness and establish
liaison relationships with official State and regional appointed
representatives.
